Derbul

 

a river in northern China, a right-bank tributary of the Argun’ River of the Amur River basin. It is about 200 km long and drains an area of 5,770 sq km. It rises in the western spurs of the Greater Khingan Mountains, and flows for most of its course through the mountains. In its lower reaches, however, it passes along a broad, marshy valley. There is high water in the summer. The Derbul is used for floating timber.
