Chii-San
Chii-San
a mountain massif in Korea constituting the southern end of the Sobaek Range. Chii-san measures approximately 50 km in length and rises to a maximum elevation of 1,915 m at the mountain Chii-san, the highest peak on the Korean peninsula. The slopes have deciduous (oak, ash) and mixed forests to an elevation of 1,400 m and coniferous forests (spruce, pine) at higher elevations.
