(Epizooticheskii zhurnat), in the USSR, a document that records infectious and invasive diseases of animals on the oblast (krai), raion, city, and farm level. The Epizootic Journal serves as the initial document for accounting and analyzing the epizootic state of farms and populated areas. The data recorded are transferred to an epizootic map.
