CAMK1D CAMK1D A gene on chromosome 10p13 that encodes the delta subunit of a calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase, which operates in the calcium-triggered CaMKK-CaMK1 signalling cascade by activating CREB-dependent gene transcription, regulating calcium-mediated granulocyte function and respiratory burst and basal dendritic growth of hippocampal neurons. CAMK1D is required for cytokine-induced proliferative responses and activation of the respiratory burst in neutrophils. |
