Chermasan
Chermasan
a river in the Bashkir ASSR, a left tributary of the Belaia River of the Volga basin. The Chermasan is 186 km long and drains an area of 3,970 sq km. It rises in the Bugul’ma-Belebei Elevation and is fed primarily by snow. The mean flow rate is 10 cu m per sec. The Chermasan freezes over in November, and the ice breaks up in April.
