Location:At the intersection of M-50 and US 12 in Lenawee County.
Facilities:Historic tavern, visitor center, picnic tables.
Activities:Exhibits, displays, nature programs.
Special Features:Park is the site of Walker Tavern, a major stopping place forstagecoaches traveling between Detroit and Chicago in the early 19thcentury. The visitor center and restored tavern with period furnituretell the story of taverns and stagecoach travel for early Michiganresidents. Site is operated in cooperation with the Department ofHistory, Arts, and Libraries and is open May through October.
