Ettingshausen coefficient

[′ed·iŋz‚hau̇z·ən ‚kō·i‚fish·ənt] (physics) A measure of the strength of the Ettingshausen effect, equal to the ratio of the temperature gradient to the product of the current density and magnetic field strength which produce this gradient.
