Black List

For example, people who have written bad checks at a store may be put on a black list and not allowed to enter or buy from that store. The term has a pejorative connotation, and often refers to persons excluded for questionable reasons. For example, a business association may maintain a black list of union members or a union may do the same for current and former business lobbyists.
