Established: 1938.
Location:North of Dodson in northeastern Blaine County, Montana.
Facilities:None.
Activities:Hunting.
Special Features:Waterfowl and upland game bird hunting is allowed on a portion of the refuge, east of the road, but hunters must walk in. In high-water years, a small boat may be carried to the reservoir during hunting season.
Habitats: 1,494 acres native range with a large retention reservoir.
Access: Refuge is fenced and gates are normally locked, but visitors may enter on foot. Roads in this remote region may be too dangerous to travel during winter.
Wild life: Migratory birds; resident wildlife includes pronghorn antelope and raptors.
