(DMIT) (dis'ă-bil'i-tē man'ăj-mĕnt in'tĕr-ven'shŭn tēm) An interdisplinary group that derives, coordinates, and resolves individualized disability management programs for workers based on collective information established from occupational handicap assessments. Team members include a worker, union representative, direct supervisor, case coordinator, physician, and other health care professionals.
