EMX1 EMX1 A gene on chromosome 2p13.2 that encodes a transcription factor which, in co-operation with EMX2, generates the boundary between the roof and archipallium in the developing brain. EMX1 may function in combination with OTX1/2 to specify cell fates in the developing CNS. |
