Location:Midway between Chambersburg and Gettysburg on US 30, in the central southern portion of the state.
Facilities:184 class A campsites (all with electricity), group tent camp, showers, flush toilets, 2 modern cabins, picnic areas, picnic pavilions, hiking trails (10 miles), swimming pool (é), historical center, store (within 5 miles), 18-hole golf course, playground.
Activities:Camping, fishing, swimming, hiking, hunting, golf, nature programs.
Special Features:Totem Pole Playhouse, a summer stock theater, offers performances during the summer months (call 717-352-2164 for more information). In addition, the Thaddeus Stevens Blacksmith Shop is a historical center.
