Zuevka

a city (until 1944, a settlement); center of the Zuevka Raion, Kirov Oblast, RSFSR. Located on the left bank of the Cheptsa River (a tributary of the Viatka). Railroad station on the Kirov-Perm’ line, 105 km east of Kirov. Population, 17,000 (1970). Industry includes railroad-transportation enterprises, a machine-repair plant, a machine factory (producing amusement-park rides and theatrical equipment), a creamery, a winery, and a poultry farm.

an urban-type settlement in Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, on the Krynka River (a tributary of the Mius), 8 km from the Khartsyzsk station on the lasinovataiaIlovaiskoe line. Coal is mined in Zuevka.
