Zubova Poliana

an urban-type settlement; center of Zubova Poliana Raion, Mordovian ASSR. Located on the Partsa River (Oka basin). Railroad station on the Moscow-Kuibyshev line. Industry includes a radio-components factory, a creamery, a state timber chemistry establishment, and a timber combine. There is also a teachers college.
