Zhitkovichi

a city, the administrative center of Zhitkovichi Raion, Gomel’ Oblast, Byelorussian SSR. Zhitkovichi has a railroad station on the Luninets-Kalinkovichi railroad line. There are food enterprises, including a creamery, in the city, and logging is done nearby. The city has a museum of local lore.
