Zheleznodorozhnoe Delo
(Railroading), a weekly magazine of the Russian Technical Society, published in St. Petersburg from 1882 to 1917. It was not published from 1917 to 1923, but publication as a monthly was resumed in 1924 and continued until 1931. The magazine reported scientific experiments and research and regularly published articles and reports and administrative, technical, economic, and commercial matters involved with railroading, as well as on the opening of new sections of railroads. The magazine had a regular supplement entitled “Bibliographical Index of Articles in Railroad Periodicals.”
