Zhangiztobe

an urban-type settlement in Zharma Raion, Semipalatinsk Oblast, Kazakh SSR. It is a railroad station 160 km south of Semipalatinsk, with which it is linked by highway. Population, 7,000 (1970). The settlement has rail transport enterprises and a grain elevator.
