Zhamantuz

or Dzhamantuz. (1) A salty lake in Kokcheta Oblast, Kazakh SSR, with a basin area of approximately 37 sq km.

(2) A lake in Pavlodar Oblast, Kazakh SSR. Its area fluctuates strongly (from 2.3 to 16 sq km), depending upon the flow and evaporation of its water (which is bitter and salty).
