Zekari Pass

a pass in the Transcaucasus across the Meskheti (Adzharo-Imeretini) Range of the Lesser Caucasus, at the source of the Khanistskali River in the Georgian SSR. Elevation, 2,182 m. Zekari Pass is traversed by a road from the settlement of Maiakovskii to Kutaisi, which crosses the Zekari resort (on the northern slopes of the range), to the Abastumani mountain resort (on the southern slopes), uniting further on with the main Batumi-Akhaltsikhe road.
