Zardob

a city (settlement until 1968) and center of Zardob Raion, Azerbaijan SSR. Situated on the left bank of the Kura River, 35 km south of the Udzhary railroad station (Baku-Tbilisi line), with which it is joined by a motor road. Population, 6,000 (1970). A mechanized land reclamation station is located there.
