The integrated development environment (IDE) from Apple that is used to create, compile and test Mac OS X and iOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod) applications. Introduced with OS X Version 10.3 (Panther) and evolving from Apple's Project Builder, Xcode supports writing in C, C++, Objective-C, Swift, AppleScript, Java and Cocoa.
