atypical vaginal adenosis

A distinct histopathologic entity most commonly associated with diethylstilbesterol (DES) therapy (and thus of historic interest), which is characterised by cytologic atypia and often accompanied by cervical ectropion. A small percentage of cases progressed to clear cell adenocarcinoma.
