Location:33 miles north of Dillingham; accessible by boat or plane only.

Special Features:Park is the largest state park in the US. It has just a few rusticfacilities -- emphasis here is on low impact camping and "pack it in,pack it out" practices. The park is named for its two separate systemsof lakes and is characterized by its water-based ecosystems. All fivespecies of Pacific salmon spawn here, and freshwater sportfish aregenerally prolific throughout the area. Wildlife is also abundant, frommoose, caribou, and brown bear to small animals such as beaver,muskrat, otter, fox, wolverine, and mink. The entire park is open tocamping, though some areas require a permit, and all but one of thelakes are open to motorized boating.
