Wi-Fi mesh network

Wi-Fi mesh network

A wireless router that supports multiple Wi-Fi base stations for extended coverage throughout the home. Unlike range extenders, Wi-Fi mesh networks do not create a separate network. They provide a single network that users' mobile devices connect to automatically as they move around the house. See wireless mesh network, range extender and MoCA.

The Google WiFi Solution
This is a Google wireless router for homes up to 1,500 square feet. For larger dwellings, one or two additional similar-looking modules are recommended for strong Wi-Fi coverage. Units communicate with each other, and the mobile app is used to block websites and track how much each family member uses.
