Location:Off Route 26, 6 miles south of Lowville.
Facilities:56 campsites (@di; some with electrical hookups), showers (@DI), picnicarea, picnic pavilions (é), multi-use trails, beach with bathhouse,boat launch, playground.
Activities:Camping, hunting, fishing, swimming, hiking, canoeing, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing.
Special Features:Park is built in and around a three-mile-long gorge cut in the eastern edge of the Tug Hill Plateau. The gorge is one of the most spectacular scenic vistas east of the Rocky Mountains. Above the gorge is Whetstone Reservoir, stocked with tiger muskie and largemouth bass.
