Weil, Martin Weil, Martin (1941–2009)Restoration architect and founding member of the Los Angeles Conservancy, responsible for the restoration of many Southern California historic properties including the El Capitan Theatre, Pasadena City Hall, Watts Towers, and the Frank Lloyd Wright–designed Storer House in Hollywood Hills. Weil helped found the L.A. Conservancy in 1978, which prevented the demolition of the Los Angeles Central Library. |
