Location:50 miles west of Redding, at the southwest corner of Highway 299 and Oregon Street in the community of Weaverville.

Special Features:Still used as a place of worship, this Taoist temple is the oldest continuously used Chinese temple inCalifornia. Exhibits displayed at the temple interpretthe role played by Chinese immigrants in early California history andinclude art objects, pictures, mining tools, and weapons used in the1854 Tong War.
