Location:On Georgia's northern coast, 14 miles southeast of Savannah.
Facilities:Trails (20 miles).
Activities:Boating, kayaking, biking, beachcombing, fishing, hunting, hiking, educational programs.
Special Features:Threatened loggerhead sea turtles nest here in the summer.
Habitats: 10,053 acres of salt marshes and beaches with rolling dunes, live oak, and slash pine woodlands.
Access: Open during daylight hours; accessible only by boat.
Wild life: Threatened or endangered species such as bald eagle, wood stork, piping plover, peregrine falcons, and loggerhead turtles.
