See also: Support right of support
right of support the right of a landowner to have his buildings supported by his neighbour's house or other structure. Equally, every landowner is entitled to have his land in its natural state supported by the adjoining land of his neighbour, against whom an action will lie if, by digging or other excavation on his own land, he removes that support. This right of support is not an easement but rather a right of property passing with the soil. |
