Location:8 miles south of Missoula to Lolo, then 0.5 miles west on US 12.
Facilities:Picnic area, picnic shelter, interpretive trail, information kiosk, vault toilets.
Activities:Fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Lewis and Clark's expedition twice camped at this site, in 1805 and1806. Site is one of only two in the US with physical proof that Lewisand Clark were there. Travelers Rest Preservation & HeritageAssociation manages the site for Montana Fish, Wildlife and ParksDepartment.
