Siniak
a balneological health resort in the Ukrainian SSR, 20 km from Mukachevo and 12 km from the Chinadievo railroad station. Siniak is located in the Vihorlat Range of the wooded Carpathians, in the valley of the Matekova River (a tributary of the Latoritsa), at an elevation of approximately 400 m. Summers are moderately warm, with an average July temperature of 17°C, and winters are mild, with an average January temperature of - 5°C. Annual precipitation totals 800 mm.
