Strezhevoi

(since Apr. 5, 1978), a city of oblast jurisdiction in Aleksandrovskoe Raion, Tomsk Oblast, RSFSR. Located on the bank of a right tributary of the Ob” River. Population, 17,500 (1975). Strezhevoi is a center for the extraction of petroleum and gas.
