Location:20 miles south of Richmond. Take I-95 to Exit 61, then go west on Route 10 to Route 655, Beach Road.
Facilities:119 campsites (all with water and electric hookups), 5 popup camper sites, group campsites, group bunkhouses, showers, toilets, picnic area, 7 picnic shelters, snack bar, hiking trails, bridle trails (9 miles), bicycle trail (5 miles), bicycle rentals, large swimming pool, boat launch, boat rentals, museum, gift shop, amphitheater.

Special Features:Located just 20 miles from downtown Richmond, Pocahontas is one of Virginia's most popular states park and includes 150-acre Swift Creek Lake and 24-acre Beaver Lake. The Civilian Conservation Corps Museum at the park displays historic photographics, artifacts, and personal mementos in an original building outfitted with modern conveniences.
