screen angle[′skrēn ‚aŋ·gəl] (electromagnetism) Vertical angle bounded by a straight line from the radar antenna to the horizon and the horizontal at the antenna assuming a ⁴⁄₃ earth's radius. (graphic arts) The angle used for a halftone screen in relation to another screen to avoid an undesirable moiré pattern in a color reproduction process. screen angleThe angle at which a halftone screen is placed over an image.
