a mountain massif in Albania. The massif is about 50 km long and has elevations to 2,480 m; it is the highest range in central Albania. The Tomorr Range is composed mainly of limestones and flysch. The mountains are strongly dissected by the tributaries of the Devoll and Osum rivers. Oak and beech forests grow at elevations up to 1,800 m; meadows are found at higher elevations. In the winter, elevations above 1,000 m are snow-covered.
