Unyamwezi

the central part of the East African Plateau, located south of Lake Victoria in Tanzania. The predominant elevations range from 1,100 to 1,400 m. Unyamwezi forms a watershed among the basins of the Nile, Congo, and Rufiji rivers and the closed lakes Rukwa and Eyasi. Vegetation is represented primarily by the dry deciduous thin tropical forests known as miombos.
