Vershina Tei

an urban-type settlement in Askiz Raion, Khakass Autonomous Oblast, Krasnoiarsk Krai, RSFSR. It is located on the eastern slope of the Abakan Range. It is the terminal point of the railroad branch from the Biskamzha station (on the Novokuznetsk-Abakan line). Population, 9,800 (1969). Iron ore is mined, and there is an ore-concentrating factory.
