Adyry
Adyry
(Turkic), rolling foothills bordering the Fergana Basin. They represent a zone of alluvial fans which have flowed together and overlap each other and are composed of conglomerated loess deposits which are the products of mountain erosion. Elevations are 100–400 m above the adjacent plains. They are broken up by highly branched gullies and ravines and have a semidesert and desert landscape in which ephemeral vegetation plays an important role.
