Location:In the southern Berkshires in western Massachusetts; accessible via Mass Pike (I-90) or from MA 8.
Facilities:Campground, showers, restrooms (é), beach, picnic area, trails, boat ramp.
Activities:Camping, fishing, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, ATV riding (ondesignated trails only), hunting (with restrictions), cross-countryskiing, snowmobiling, interpretive programs (seasonal).
Special Features:The centerpiece of this state forest is 1,065-acre Otis Reservoir, whichprovides a variety of recreation opportunities. The campground is situated on ascenic and wooded peninsula. In season, hunting is open for all kindsof game, including turkey, deer, and bear.
