Q. Is there anything to worry? Vomiting is common among all pregnant women. my wife is in the second trimester and she never vomited. Sometimes she had vomiting sensation and that too in the beginning. This is her first baby. This makes her to feel otherwise. Is there anything to worry?
vomiting is often a normal thing happened in pregnancy. it usually occurs during the first trimester in the pregnancy. a hormone called HCG is believed to be responsible of vomiting/nausea sensation during 1st trimester of pregnancy, and it usually fades away by itself when a pregnant woman enters the second trimester.
not every pregnant mom should experience the nausea/vomiting feeling. but a pregnant mom of twin fetus usually will experience more nausea/vomiting because of her increased HCG level. In normal condition, the ‘nausea and vomit’ feeling will be gradually decreasing by the age of 14-16 weeks of pregnancy. If it still happens after the 1st trimester, or if the vomit is becoming worse, then a complete work up should be done.
So, again, there's nothing to worry about your wife's pregnancy.. Good luck, and stay healthy always..

Q. Is it an ulcer? I am worried! Hi friend, I'm 35 year old male and recently I started to suffer from some strange symptoms I have never experienced. The first symptom was sharp pain in my upper abdomen that starts two of three hours after eating. In the beginning I thought it could be connected with some food intolerance but then I started to get this pain early in the morning, before any eating what so ever and all this was accompanied with nausea, frequent burping and weight loss.I have read some stuff about stomach ulcer and I could say that I poses almost every major symptom. Is there any way for me to be sure that I have developed disease of ulcer?
