Tokuyama

a city and port in Japan, in the southwestern part of Honshu Island, on the Inland Sea, in Yamaguchi Prefecture. Population, 105,600 (1974). Industry includes petroleum refining and the production of sodium carbonate. A shipyard is located near Tokuyama.
