Toktogul Hydroelectric Power Plant

a power plant located on the Naryn River in Osh Oblast, Kirghiz SSR. The plant has a rated power of 1,200 megawatts (MW) with four 300-MW hydraulic turbogenerator units. The units began operating in 1975. The hydroengineering complex includes a concrete dam 215 m high and the Toktogul Reservoir.
