RGB monitor

(1) A video display screen that requires separate red, green and blue signals from the computer. It generates a better image than composite signals (TV) which merge the three colors together. It comes in both analog and digital varieties.

(2) Refers to an earlier CGA monitor that accepted digital RGB signals.
