Tuff Concrete

 

a lightweight concrete in which the aggregate is tuff. The density of tuff concrete is 1,200 to 1,800 kg/m3, and its compressive strength is 5–10 meganewtons per square meter. Tuff concrete is used primarily as a locally procurable wall material and also in the manufacture of lightweight concrete and reinforced-concrete structural members and products.
