| 释义 | ReventazónReventazón(rāvāntäsōn`), river, c.85 mi (140 km) long, rising in the Meseta Central, E Costa Rica, and flowing NE to the Caribbean Sea, N of Limón. The Reventazón is navigable for a short distance only, but its deep valley through the mountains offered the best access for the railway (now abandoned) from San José, the capital, to Limón, once the principal port. Hydroelectric plants along the river produce a significant portion of Costa Rica's electricity. |
