ROSC

In cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the resumption of a normal heart rhythm with a perceptible pulse. ROSC differs from the ultimate goal of CPR, which is the survival of the patient, without injury to the brain, heart, kidneys, lungs, or other organs.
