Storrs, John

Storrs, John (Henry Bradley)

(1885–1956) sculptor; born in Chicago. He traveled extensively, studied in Berlin and Paris (1907–10, 1914–16), and in the United States in Chicago, Pennsylvania, and Boston. After becoming an expatriate in Paris, he was interred in a Nazi concentration camp during World War II. He is known for his innovative cubist sculptures, such as Composition Around Two Voids (1932).
