Artiukhovo Barrow

a burial complex dating from the time of the Bosporan State at the khutor (Ukrainian farmstead) of Artiukhovo near ancient Phanagoria (Tainan Peninsula Temriuk Raion, Krasnodar Krai). It contained burials in stone cases (third century B.C. to first century A.D.) that belonged to the local Sindhi aristocracy. The most interesting gravesites are three that date from 140 to 125 B.C. and contained gold ornaments, silver and clay dishes, mirrors, stone beads, and other handicrafts testifying to the high quality of the crafts of the Bosporus and Middle Asia of the Hellenic period.
