Plan agreement

A document detailing the terms and conditions of a retirement plan such as an IRA.

Plan Agreement

The final agreement between the holder of an IRA or other retirement account and the financial institution providing it. The plan agreement states the terms of the IRA(such as the contribution limit), age at which withdrawals may begin, and so forth. One must sign the plan agreement before the retirement account can go into effect.
