Focuses on five threats: loss of animal and plant species, deterioration of the planet's oceans and atmosphere, the growing presence of toxic chemicals in living things, destruction of wilderness areas, and population growth and over-consumption. Members: 7,000 members and supporters. Dues: $40/year ($20/year for students/seniors).
